Documenting my progress in Marichyasana D. I still cannot bind on my own in Marichyasana D. But it's getting there. A lot of improvement since the Mysore trip. This is also attributed to renewed commitment to put in a more regular practice.
Just reviewing the video clip; I'm noticing my lower back collapsing at the end of my upward dog. Now wondering how I can improve on this.

NICE jump through! Have you tried bringing your bent leg up onto tip toe before you bind then lower down off your toes. I found this a good way to get deeper into it. Also I found in Swenson, I think that the foot is placed different in Mari b and d . In B it's in frount of your buttock but in D more to the side.

No, it's just to help you bind a little more deeply, you bind as normal with the leg up on the toe but when you drop the toe it seems to drag you in more deelply. I don't do it now but it really helped in the beginning. I made a Youtube video awhile back to try and show what i mean.

Nice jump through! I practiced for 3years but still cannot lift up! Seem like my arm are too short! mmmmmm.........
